These terms cover Home, a private home-automation application operated by Joel Oliver for a single household in Toronto, Canada.
Home is for members of that household only. It is not offered, sold or supported for anyone else. Signing in without the operator's permission is not authorised.
Home connects the household's own devices, such as the Google Nest thermostat, to a Home Assistant server in the home so they can be viewed and controlled. Your use of Google services through it remains subject to Google's own terms.
Home is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It may stop working, change or be withdrawn at any time. Do not rely on it for safety-critical functions.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the application.
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
